Pastor Shannon Thomas

If you haven't had a chance to actually meet Shannon Keith Thomas, you probably wouldn't have any idea that you are looking at a fighter- his demeanor is somewhat quiet until you get to know him! Born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Timothy and Frances Thomas, his formative years were spent in Tacoma and he family attended Greater Christ Temple Church later the family relocated to Port Orchard, Washington and attended Emmanuel Apostolic Church where his father served as assistant pastor.

Everyone has a story and if you know Shannon's, you know it is one that demonstrates the mercy and sovereignty of God. At 18 years old, his curiosity to see what life was like outside of church rules and regulations led him to leaving a good home with godly parents and bad decisions negatively affected twenty years of his life. Realizing that he couldn't run from his purpose and like the prodigal son, Shannon returned to the Father's house and God blessed him.

Shannon watched God's plans fall into place starting with blessing him with the love of his life, Amanda Thomas and two children Mosi and Tahirah. When you meet Shannon and Amanda, you will definitely be able to see God's favor at work. As individuals, they are very much opposites but by God's design they brilliantly complement one another. Pastor Shannon's heart is about Kingdom business, and he knows that his purpose is tied together with his lovely and talented wife Amanda, and they serve God together.

One of his God-given gifts is problem solving and fixing things - his hands are constantly busy.  Professionally, Shannon is a licensed General Contractor and the owner of his own small business: The Handyman Can. Shannon is a quiet leader. He is comfortable with staying in the background.

Ordained as an Elder by the Pacific Northwest District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in July, 2022- Pastor Shannon's heart is that of a servant and he has accepted and embraced the Call of God on his life to step out of his comfort zone and lead!
